It was designed to be a “one-box” solution in JVC’s “105” component line, combining preamplifier, tone control (with JVC’s SEA system), and power amplification

To deliver this product properly, it is carefully packed in very strong boxes, thereby wrapped in bubble wrap with lots of padding.
