Included are 10 original lithograohic covers illustrated by Art Nouveau master Alphonse Mucha. The cover of the book is also an original design by Mucha. The content inside is a diverse account of life during the first world war, discussion a wide range of literary and political topics. Included are political cartoons from the time, poems and songs from the front lines, original images from the front lines, photos of the Zeppelin and so on. Also included are illustrations by other famous Art Nouveau illustrators including a wide range of Art Nouveau frames, motifs and designs. Finally, advertisements from the time give insight into every day life. A truly wonderful and unique piece covering the topics of military and political history, art nouveau design and every day life from the early 1900s. Really a fascinating lot in excellent condition. The lithographic covers are all intact and like new. No damages to the pages inside.
