Beschrijving van de verkoper

Description
A finely painted Chinese porcelain saucer from the Kangxi period (1662–1722), decorated in underglaze cobalt blue.

The central scene depicts a small house with smoke rising from the roof, flanked by two birds. This is a relatively uncommon and charming decoration, executed with the lively brushwork and refined painting characteristic of Kangxi blue and white porcelain.

The reverse bears a symbol mark within a double circle, a feature frequently encountered on quality Kangxi wares. The bright porcelain body and crisp cobalt decoration give the piece an elegant and attractive appearance.

A delightful and well-preserved example of early Qing porcelain.

Age
Kangxi period, Qing dynasty (1662–1722)

Measurements
Diameter: 12.4 cm
Height: 2.4 cm

Condition
In near-perfect condition. Only two extremely minor fritting spots to the rim. No hairlines or restorations. Please refer carefully to the photographs for details.

All objects are packed with the greatest care and shipped fully insured. All objects are examined carefully under strong UV light. The condition is described with great care, aiming to reflect the actual state of the object as closely as possible.
