Grote Chinese Export Porcelain Tray – Blauw-wit bloemige tuinscène – Qing-Dynastie, 19e eeuw

Fijn Chinees exportporselein dienblad versierd met onderglazuurblauw met een serene tuincompositie featuring flowering peonies, ornamental rockwork and a graceful willow tree. De centrale scène is surrounded by an elaborate border of floral and symbolic motifs, executed in varying shades of cobalt blue.

The elegant octagonal form and refined decoration are characteristic of Chinese export wares produced during the Qing Dynasty for the European market. The combination of delicate painting and harmonious design makes this a highly decorative and collectible piece.

Condition:
Good antique condition. No restorations, no cracks and no hairlines. There are a few small edge frits and minor rim chips consistent with age and use, visible in the photographs. The tray remains attractive, stable and well preserved overall.
