This Porsche 911 (997) Cabriolet is an exceptional and very high-quality build, developed with a clear focus on performance, expert engineering, and an unparalleled driving experience. The car was cherished for more than ten years by a single Dutch owner, who consistently developed and technically improved the vehicle over time.

Originally delivered in the United States, this 997 has since been fully and professionally converted to European specifications. BODYWORK & PAINT:

The exterior presents beautifully and features a distinctive, aggressive stance. The car is currently fitted with striking 997.2 Turbo-style alloy wheels that suit the overall look perfectly. For the next owner, a brand new front splitter will be fitted prior to delivery (photos of this will follow soon).

TECHNICAL:

At the heart of this Porsche is a masterpiece: a fully rebuilt, naturally aspirated flat-six engine that has been enlarged to a 4.0-litre configuration. This comprehensive engine rebuild was carried out approximately 10,000 km ago and features top-tier engineering:

* Closed-deck engine construction for ultimate reliability.
* Fitted with GT3 996 pistons.
* Built with K1 connecting rods and premium Carrillo 3/8 bolts.
* Upgraded and renewed IMS bearing.

This setup produces approximately 400 hp, resulting in a powerful, immediate throttle response and impressive performance.

The drivetrain consists of a 6-speed manual gearbox combined with a GT3 short shifter for a precise, mechanical shifting feel. Purists will love the fact that the car has been converted to a Carrera 2 rear-wheel-drive configuration and is fitted with a Carrera 2S differential, providing a much sportier and more direct driving experience.

To match this serious power, the suspension and braking system have been heavily upgraded. The car features high-performance ceramic brake discs from the 996 GT3 for consistent, fade-free stopping power. Furthermore, a custom sports exhaust gives the car a deep, characterful sound that perfectly suits its sporty nature.

INTERIOR:

The interior is fully finished in premium blue leather, covering the supportive factory sports seats as well as the door panels. The craftsmanship is of a very high standard and presents in very nice condition. Combined with the convertible concept, the blue leather gives the cabin an exclusive, timeless, and highly distinctive appearance.

DOCUMENTS:

The car comes with a solid history of long-term ownership in the Netherlands. All technical modifications have been documented, and the car is fully compliant with European specifications and road regulations.
