Background Information:
This collection comprises five small cast bronze pendants dating to the Roman Imperial period. Each pendant displays an individual openwork design with suspension loops or attachment points, indicating that they were intended to be worn or attached to clothing, belts, harnesses, or personal belongings. Their carefully cast geometric forms reflect the diversity of small bronze ornaments produced throughout the Roman world.
