ArtBrut by Ann – Dollar Bear Up for auction is a unique, luxury collectible bear sculpture that strikes a bold balance between contemporary pop art and streetwear/hypebeast aesthetics. The work’s central motif is the US dollar. I created this sculpture by hand from scratch in my Polish studio, subsequently decorating and finishing each piece individually. The figure’s entire surface features a precise, multi-layered collage of classic dollar bills in various denominations—including the $100 bill featuring Benjamin Franklin, as well as $50 and $1 bills. The composition is rendered in shades of creamy white, deep black, and olive green. This color palette lends the sculpture an elegant, luxurious, and striking character. The piece is hand-sealed with several coats of durable, high-gloss varnish. The lustrous surface catches the light beautifully, accentuating the graphic details while protecting the sculpture’s decorative finish. Due to the handcrafted nature of the creation and decoration process, each piece may vary slightly in pattern layout and finish, giving it a unique character.
