El anverso muestra un busto frontal del emperador con corona y vestimenta imperial, sosteniendo un globo crucífero y un escudo. En el reverso aparece la Victoria de pie, sosteniendo una cruz larga y un globo crucífero, con la leyenda “VICTORIA AVGGG” y “CONOB” en el exergo. Se trata de una pieza destacada del periodo medio bizantino.
