This is a beautiful uninked medium-nibbed Montblanc Meisterstück U-hooded gold nib cartridge. The first inking will be done by its new owner, I only tested the mechanical flow with water. This pen is great for anyone looking for an out of the factory experience with a vintage Montblanc pen. The pen is not scratched, cracked and is very shiny and clean! The pen was also tested and it flows beautifully! The pen is also marked with 2 initials on the inside barrel, not visible on the outside and can be sanded off if the owner will want that. According to the MB catalogues of the 70s, the nib is Medium (M class) and of U - hooded type. I also compared the nib to other pens in my collection and it may be a specialty shape factor, in between a medium and a broad, but I can't tell for sure, as it may be a special order. As a vintage objects collector myself, I made sure you will get a fully functional and complete piece of art, using my extensive knowledge and handling them with care, as I would do for myself.
