Eine große chinesische Ge-Ware-Keramikvase aus den 1920er Jahren. 39 cm - Porzellan - China - Republik Periode (1912 - 1949)
A beautiful early 20th-century (c. 1920s) Chinese porcelain vase featuring a classic Hu-shaped (pear-shaped) silhouette.
This piece is a fine example of the Republic Period’s revival of ancient Song Dynasty "Official" kiln aesthetics.
Iconic Guan-type craquelure ("ice crack") finish in a pale celadon-gray tone.
The vase features a classic Hu-shaped (pear-shaped) body, characterized by its wide, stable base and elegantly waisted neck. It is flanked by two scrolling "double-ear" handles, which add a touch of architectural grace to its balanced form.
The most notable feature is the Guan-type celadon glaze. This creamy, pale grayish finish is intentionally fired to produce a network of fine craquelure (crackle) lines across the entire surface. This "broken ice" effect creates a wonderful textural depth that catches the light and emphasizes the vase's organic shape.
Elegant waisted neck accented by two scrolling "double-ear" handles.
A sophisticated blend of minimalist form and intricate textural depth.
Weight 8kg.
Height 39 cm.
Width 30 cm.
Diameter of the base is 21 cm, diameter of the rim is 20,5 cm.
