Seltenes großes Herren-Haori - Tokamachi-Tsumugi-Seide - handbemaltes Mt. Fuji - unbenutzt - Seide - Japan - Spätes 20. Jahrhundert bis frühes 21. Jahrhundert

Item & Origin This is a premium, unused (deadstock) Japanese men's Haori (traditional silk jacket) crafted from authentic Tokamachi Tsumugi silk. Tokamachi, located in the snow country of Niigata, is world-renowned for its high-quality textile production. This Haori is made from genuine Shoken (100% silk) with a characteristic "Tsumugi" texture—it is substantial and durable, yet remarkably soft and breathable. The true masterpiece is the Haura (inner lining). It features a stunning, large-scale hand-painted landscape of Mount Fuji, ancient pines, and traditional architecture. In Japanese culture, this represents the aesthetic of "Iki"—hiding one's greatest wealth and art inside, revealing it only in subtle glimpses. Dimensions (Rare Large Size) This item is exceptionally rare due to its generous sizing, making it a perfect fit for the European/International market, where many vintage Haoris are often too small. Recommended Height: Perfect for individuals around 175 cm to 185 cm tall. Due to its generous sleeve length (74 cm), it provides a stylish and comfortable fit for those who usually find standard Japanese vintage garments too small. Sleeve-to-Sleeve (Yuki): 74 cm Total Length: 102 cm Sleeve Depth: 50 cm Back Width: approx. 66 cm Note for European Buyers: The "Yuki" (74 cm) is the most critical measurement. This extra-large size is very difficult to find in the vintage market and ensures a comfortable fit for taller individuals or those with broader shoulders. While many Haoris follow smaller traditional standards, this piece was specially custom-tailored (order-made) for a larger physique. This makes it a rare find, combining vintage craftsmanship with a size that fits modern global standards Weight Approx.700 grams (Note: Tsumugi silk is slightly heavier and more luxurious than standard thin silk, giving it a beautiful drape when worn.) Shipping Method Shipped from Japan via DHL, FedEx, or EMS (Japan Post) with a tracking number and insurance. We ensure professional packaging to protect the delicate silk during its journey. Note: Custom duties or VAT are the responsibility of the buyer.
