Arita ware - Teller - Porzellan - Nabeshima in der Edo-Zeit

Blue and white porcelain dish attributed to the Nabeshima tradition, Edo period (c. 1700–1800). The surface is decorated with fan-shaped reserves containing floral and pine motifs, rendered in refined underglaze cobalt. The balanced composition and precise brushwork reflect the disciplined aesthetic associated with Nabeshima ware of the Edo era. Artist Profile Nabeshima ware was produced in the official kilns of the Nabeshima domain in Hizen (present-day Saga Prefecture) during the Edo period. Created primarily for presentation to the shogunate and high-ranking samurai, these porcelains are known for their controlled composition, elegant white ground, and exceptionally refined cobalt decoration. Early examples from the 18th century are especially valued for their clarity of design and technical precision. Condition Good condition – Age-related staining and minor surface wear consistent with the Edo period. Small spots and natural signs of aging are visible on the glaze. Considering its age, these characteristics contribute to the historical authenticity of the piece. No major cracks or repairs observed. Shipping The item will be carefully packed and shipped from Japan with tracking to ensure safe delivery. ※Important Information – Please Read Before Bidding※ Customs duties, VAT, and import clearance fees are not included in the shipping cost and are the responsibility of the buyer.
