Studio Yann Gandon - Hocker - Esche - Shift Stool - Grün

Design and made in Denmark by Studio Yann Gandon - designer and woodworker A good opportunity to get a unique piece of furniture! Each piece is constructed entirely from a single offcut sourced from post-production waste in kitchen manufacturing. The material consists of 30mm finger-jointed panels in solid ash. Finger joints are revealed in select areas, serving as a reminder of the material’s origin. Their placement is neither controlled nor designed but accepted as an integral part of the panel’s inherent logic. The wood is stained with the Satin Wood Oil - 12 / Rio de Janeiro from Linolie&Pigment. The form remains intentionally simple. Any perceived complexity arises through interaction and movement, as the volume subtly shifts in profile depending on the viewer’s perspective. Type: stool/side table Materials: Finger jointed Beech Dimensions in mm: dia 38cm, height 43cm Condition: new, this is an unique piece made of ash Please note: As each piece is handmade from natural wood, slight variations from the image in colour and grain will occur. These subtle differences highlight the individuality of each item and are part of its crafted character. About Studio Yann Gandon Founded in 2020, Studio Yann Gandon is led by French self-taught designer and woodworker Yann Gandon. Initially established in New Zealand, the practice is now based in Copenhagen, Denmark. The studio’s work is represented by galleries in France and Belgium and has been featured at leading design events, including 3DaysofDesign and Paris Design Week. https://www.yanngandon.com/
