On offer is a vintage OMEGA dress watch dating from 1944 (based on the movement's serial number) featuring a manual-wind movement and a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o'clock. The case number and the fact that the watch case is 10K gold-filled indicates that this watch was produced for the North American market. The case, measuring 29mm in diameter without the crown, houses a circular dial with alternating Arabic numerals and dot hour markers and distinctive gold-tone feuille (leaf) shaped hands. The dial shows some aging or patina. The cosmetic condition of the watch is excellent with normal wear and a clear crystal. The back of the watch is inscribed with the initials E.E.W., the origin of which I do not know. The watch winds smoothly and runs accurately. It was serviced and fitted with a new band several years ago, after which it was left unworn. Insured shipping with tracking.
