Collection of stereoscopic glass slides, Coleman advertising slides and decorative glass tiles – 20th century Description Interesting and varied collector’s lot consisting of vintage glass slides and decorative glass tiles. The lot includes several stereoscopic glass photographs mounted in wooden frames. These stereoscopic slides were used with a stereoscope to create a 3D visual effect and likely date from the early to mid-20th century. The images depict architectural scenes, city views and landscapes. Also included are several advertising glass slides for Coleman lanterns, featuring the brand name Coleman and the reference Charles Potter – 16 Adelaide West, Toronto. These slides were used for advertising or projection purposes. In addition, the lot contains a set of decorative glass tiles with floral motifs. The tiles have a warm terracotta background with dark botanical decorations and can be used for decoration, restoration projects or collecting.
