Ancient Roman bronze ring with a circular bezel engraved with a cross-hatched lattice pattern. The decoration consists of intersecting incised lines forming a grid-like motif across the surface of the bezel. The shoulders of the ring display simple incised linear marks, slightly tapering ring band. -> The cross-hatched design represents a simple geometric ornament commonly encountered on Roman bronze rings and other small metal objects. Such motifs were often applied using shallow engraved lines and served primarily as decorative surface treatment.
