The Pinot Grigio Gris belongs to the selection range of Lis Neris, produced from grapes sourced from the Pecorari family’s historic crus, vinified separately according to variety and vineyard of origin. These exceptional parcels, assembled over four generations of vignerons, lie in the Friuli region near Gorizia, in San Lorenzo Isontino, close to the Slovenian border and the Isonzo River. The vineyards are planted on a gravelly plateau of glacial origin, benefiting from a mild Mediterranean climate and significant day–night temperature variations that allow for slow, balanced ripening. The Gris vineyard, planted around 30 years ago on deeply calcareous soils, gives the wine its distinctive mineral character. Fermented spontaneously in French oak barrels, Pinot Grigio Gris displays a refined softness, delicate floral notes and a vibrant, refreshing acidity.
