Inna Etuvgi - THE PILGRIMAGE (a Place to Charge)

THE PILGRIMAGE (a Place to Charge) Fine Art Print by Inna Etuvgi We all know what it means to be depleted and to desperately seek a recharge. This work is created through the lens of Radical Empathy — a way of seeing in which the artist does not merely observe an object, but momentarily becomes it. Inhabiting the experience of a pair of wireless earbuds, Etuvgi visualizes their existence: being small, lost, separated, and depleted of energy. What seems like a minor everyday inconvenience is transformed into a quiet contemporary pilgrimage. It is an act of Cybernetic Animism: our very human habit of projecting emotions, hope, and even a bit of "soul" onto the gadgets that follow us everywhere. After all, we are all just travelers looking for a place to plug in. It’s a survival ritual for the modern soul :) TECHNICAL DETAILS • Format: Studio Signature Size (3:4 proportions). • Dimensions: Image 30 x 40 cm | Paper 33 x 43 cm. • Medium: Museum-quality Giclée print on archival 100% cotton paper. • Edition: Limited edition of 25. Hand-signed and numbered. • Exclusivity: This specific size is a Catawiki Exclusive. ABOUT THE ARTIST

Inna Etuvgi is a Swedish-Chukchi artist whose work defines the concept of Cybernetic Animism—a bridge between indigenous Arctic intuition and technical precision. Raised in a remote village in Chukotka and trained in technical cybernetics, Etuvgi explores the shared "soul" of natural ecosystems and digital algorithms.

Internationally recognized as an Arte Laguna Prize finalist (Venice) and a recipient of the Swedish Arts Grants Committee grant, her work is held in private collections worldwide. As art critic Tabish Khan notes: “Her work transports us to other worlds—bot
