Incredible machine from the early 80s. Upgraded to become the high end table it could have been from the start: - The power supply has been externalised. It now runs on 5V USB input, and the internal transformer is no longer used. A high quality, ultra-stable power converter creates the power supply needed internally. - The original RCA phono connection cable has been removed and replaced by two high-quality Neutrik RCA connectors, industry standard for quality and reliability (used in every sound studio worldwide) - A Ground / Earth connector was added that accepts standard "nude" wire or banana connectors. With these upgrades, the machine runs so quiet you do not hear any background noise or hum anymore. So minor wear on the front after all these years; see pictures, nothing dramatic. Dust cover is slightly less transparent than it was in its early days. Once again nothing dramatic, please inspect the pictures. Comes with a new belt and great 401 Stylus / Cartridge.
