This highly prized glaze, known as Langyao Hong (郎窑红), was one of the greatest technical achievements of the Kangxi–Yongzheng kilns of the Qing Dynasty, renowned for its depth and subtle variations in tone. The glaze shows a beautifully developed network of fine craquelure, typical of 18th-century porcelain fired in a reducing atmosphere. It also presents minor pinholes and firing specks, confirming its hand-crafted origin and authentic age. The surface retains a thick, glassy, and lustrous appearance, with a deep translucency that enhances the visual richness of the copper-red tone. Condition: Very Good, with natural age-related crackle and minor kiln firing imperfections consistent with antique production. No chips, no cracks, and no restoration. The glaze remains stable and intact, showing the beautiful patina of age.
