The damage must be reported to your local post office within 7 days of delivery, and promptly to us and Catawiki support. 【Product details】 An antique Bizen ware decorative vase produced during the Meiji period, attributed to the historic Kaneshige kiln, one of the oldest and most prestigious Bizen pottery families. The form is inspired by ancient Chinese bronze vessels, with a bold and sculptural silhouette. Twin handles are attached on both sides, and geometric patterns are applied around the neck and lower body, adding structure and rhythm to the design. The surface shows a deep brown tone with natural variations developed through firing, reflecting the distinctive aesthetic of Bizen ware and its appreciation for wabi-sabi, the beauty of age and imperfection. A kiln mark of the Kaneshige family is visible on the base. The vase is accompanied by an old wooden storage box inscribed “Ko-Bizen.” Antique condition with age-related wear. The vase has a few chips and shows slight instability. There are areas of surface loss and signs of use. The wooden box shows cracks, chips, wear, and deterioration to the cord.
