Follett. Follett was one of the many great turn-of-the-century newspaper cartoonists to come from Ohio (Sandusky, originally). His work appeared in The New York World, The Saturday Evening Post, Life Magazine, and Collier’s Weekly, and like a number of cartoonists from his time, he was an early animator as well. In addition to “Granny Goodthing,” he created the “Tidy Teddy,” “Skeezicks,” “The Kid” and “Private Conscience.” The pages are in good condition, although wrinkles, tears, flaking and missing pieces may occur.
