The candleholder is characterized by its flexible structure, where the four movable arms can be opened and shaped according to one’s preference or mood. It is a fine example of elegant Nordic minimalism. The piece is crafted in rubberwood and metal, and has a smooth lacquered surface that enhances its simple lines and sculptural form. The design is balanced, functional and warm, expressing the Scandinavian/Nordic lifestyle, where light and simplicity are central elements. ‘Nordic Light’ is both a utilitarian piece and an expressive work of artistic design, that changes its form and essence depending on how it is unfolded and configured.
