Its most famous classic wines are two Gran Reservas: the "890" and the "904," whose names allude to the year of its founding (the "8" in 1890 was omitted to avoid confusion with the vintage). The 1995 vintage of La Rioja Alta was declared Excellent. Approximate aging: In barrel: about 4 years in American oak barrels (made by the winery itself). In bottle: about 4 more years before release. In total, almost 8-9 years of aging before release. A wine with great aging potential, provided it is stored under optimal conditions. The winery cultivates its own vineyards. It currently covers approximately 425 hectares. Always stored in a private, temperature-controlled warehouse. IMPORTANT!
