Sushi-Namens-Holzschilder - Schild (34) - Holz

Description This is an authentic set of traditional Japanese wooden menu boards known as “Kifuda”, actually used in a sushi restaurant in Japan. The set consists of 34 wooden plaques, each featuring handwritten Japanese kanji representing different sushi items such as tai (sea bream), aji (horse mackerel), ebi (shrimp), maguro (tuna), sayori (halfbeak) and more. These menu boards were originally displayed on the wall behind the counter in a sushi restaurant, creating a classic and atmospheric setting. Each piece is made of wood and hand-painted, giving every board a unique character. Dating back to the Showa era (approx.), these items are now considered highly collectible and are also perfect as decorative wall art for restaurants or interior spaces. As they were actually used in a working sushi restaurant, all pieces show signs of age such as scratches, stains, and wear. These are not defects but part of their history and authenticity. This is a rare opportunity to acquire a genuine set of Japanese sushi shop menu boards. Shipping DHL or FedEx or JAPANPOST International Buyers - Please Note: For U.S. Buyers: The listed price already includes import duties and taxes. Your order will be shipped under DDP (Delivered Duty Paid). For Buyers Outside the U.S.: Items will be shipped under DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid).
