de Rupel, Boom - Champagnerglas (6) - 110 ml - Kristall - ART DECO - 1930er Jahre

An elegant set of six Art Deco crystal coupes, produced by the Belgian manufactory De Rupel (Boom), dating to the 1930s. These refined glasses are crafted from high-quality crystal and entirely hand-cut, showcasing a rhythmic geometric pattern typical of the Art Deco period. The bowls feature precise diamond-cut facets that beautifully capture and reflect light, while the sculptural stems with subtle ring detailing add elegance and balance. The classic coupe form makes them ideal for serving champagne, cocktails, or refined desserts in true period style. Each glass reflects traditional craftsmanship, with slight variations that confirm their handmade origin. The clarity of the crystal and the sharpness of the cutting highlight the quality associated with Belgian glassmaking from the Boom region, historically known for its production along the Rupel river. Importantly, the glasses retain their original factory labels, a valuable detail that supports and confirms their authenticity. A decorative and collectible set, perfect for Art Deco enthusiasts or for elevating any table setting with timeless sophistication. Condition: excellent vintage condition, no chips or cracks. Capacity: approx. 110 ml per glass. De Rupel glassworks, established in 1925 in Boom, Belgium—a town nestled between Brussels and Antwerp—initially specialized in producing mold-blown beer glasses, including the iconic Duvel glass. In 1935, the company appointed Paul Heller as chief designer, who introduced decorative glassware to their repertoire. By 1936, De Rupel was renowned for its distinctive black vases adorned with hand-painted floral and architectural motifs. The factory also produced various glassware lines, such as Artver, Artlux, Boom, and Arlecchino, encompassing vases, stemware, lampshades, and vanity sets. Despite their success, De Rupel ceased operations in 1971. Will be well packaged, protected and insured
