Stickerei - 410 cm - 30 cm - Set aus 4 Fukuro-Obi

Title: Set of 4 Traditional Japanese Nishijin-ori Fukuro Obi Dimensions: 410cm × 30cm Weight: 758g (1), 793g (2), 881g (3), 922g (4) Material: Silk brocade, gold & silver thread (Nishijin-ori, haku-ori) Period: Shōwa era (1960–1980) This carefully curated set of four Japanese fukuro obi comprises two green‑ground obi and two black‑ground obi. Woven from Nishijin‑ori or equivalent high‑quality silk brocade, all pieces extensively feature gold and silver threads (haku‑ori weaving), offering exceptional lustre, a substantial handle, and firm drape—ideally suited to the fukuro obi’s function in structuring the kimono silhouette. Each obi is crafted using either tate‑nishiki (warp brocade) or satin weave techniques, producing three‑dimensionally rich, highly detailed patterns that represent the pinnacle of traditional Japanese textile artistry. Obi 1 (Top Left, Green Ground) Centred on Japanese‑style bridges and cloud motifs woven in gold thread, this obi displays delicate, flowing lines evoking a poetic classical scene of mist‑shrouded spans. The gold thread shines brightly against the deep green ground, lending an atmosphere of refined opulence. Obi 2 (Top Right, Green Ground) Dominating this obi is a fan‑shaped design of a peacock in full plumage, rendered in gold and red. The peacock’s eye‑like feather patterns are finely outlined in gold thread; the fan edges are finished with red trim and gold ornaments, accompanied by geometric gold patterns below. Bold and visually impressive, it is a quintessential ceremonial pattern symbolising good fortune and noble elegance. Obi 3 (Bottom Left, Black Ground) This obi is centred on a double‑layered itoguruma (cartwheel) motif (taiko‑dana pattern). The outer ring is red with black spokes, the inner ring white with black spokes, all edged with gleaming gold thread. Its strong geometric form and crisp lines signify wholeness and forward progress, a classic Japanese motif representing smooth fortune and prosperity. Obi 4 (Bottom Right, Black Ground) Presenting peony and wisteria motifs worked in gold and silver thread with vivid red and blue accents, this obi features lush, vibrant red peonies enhanced by golden leaves and clusters of blue wisteria. Set against a ground of fish‑scale and cloud patterns, the layered composition is rich and stately, symbolising wealth, abundance, and flourishing fortune. Due to its age, this set of Fukuro Obi shows natural signs of ageing including minor oxidation, while remaining in overall good condition. Due to the conflict, Taiwan Post EMS has suspended parcel delivery to the following countries starting March 10, 2026: United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Israel, Pakistan, Maldives, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan, Oman, Kuwait, Jordan, Lebanon, Greece, Egypt, Morocco.
