Fujifilm X-E2 silver modified by Spencer Camera for Black & White Infrared photography. The integrated 830 nm cut-off filter reproduces the Kodak HIE film look when shooting in sunny conditions: High contrast, dramatic dark sky, luminous white foliage. Autofocus and exposure work. BW film simulation shows the resulting effect in the viewfinder. Little to no post-processing required (typically the usual adjusments of black, white and grey points). Any lens may be used, including ultra-wide angles and fisheye lenses which cannot take front filters. However some lenses perform poorly in infrared due to their optical design and/or coating and produce a "hot spot". https://kolarivision.com/lens-hotspot-list The camera can no longer take normal colour images: Raw files show a uniform purple tint, and require monochrome processing. Comes with modular Really Right Stuff L-bracket / handgrip: Baseplate, grip, and two further attachements which are compatible with Arca-Swiss tripod heads in horizontal and vertical positions. As the body is small, the grip alone, without tripod mounting plates, is quite helpful with larger lenses. The camera has obvious signs of wear: The top plate is marked, and the strap shows its age, but the camera is fully functional. The conversion process removes the sensor cleaning mechanism, so periodic sensor cleaning with wet swabs is advisable.
