This lovely swirl ring is set with an old brilliant cut diamond in the center and rose cut diamonds in the swirl. One small diamond is missing. The center diamond is white and sparkling. The measurements of the swirl are1.3 x 1.5 cm. The ring is a size 53. This model is also called tourbillion and was very popular in early 20th century France. It can be dated around 1920; the art deco period. The ring has no hallmarks but has been laser tested for 14 ct yellow gold. The stones are set in silver as was often done in that period.
