- History -
An authentic "Ichibu-ban Kin" (One Bu Gold Coin) from the Edo period, likely the Tenpo era. This rectangular gold currency features the prestigious Paulownia crest (Kiri-mon) and the characters for "One Bu" on the front, with the official master's signature (Ka-o) on the reverse. Retaining remarkable sharpness in its engravings after more than 180 years, it showcases the actual gold luster used in samurai-era Japan. A premier numismatic treasure representing the wealth and history of the Shogunate.
