Clock from the German brand Phillip Haas & Söhne - PHS. Phillip Haas & Söhne – was founded by Philipp Haas in 1867. although some sources suggest an earlier start of activity. The company's logo depicting a running hare was registered for the first time. in 1883, and it was meant to be associated with the owners' surname, Haas. In German, 'Hase' is a hare. Philipp Haas & Söhne was a frequent and successful exhibitor at national and international trade fairs. The company went bankrupt around 1930 during the Great Depression in Germany. Clock signed three times on the movement, brass gong. and at the back, on the back. Low serial number 8835. The mechanism is fully functional during normal walking. The working time is about 10 days. Readable shield with minimal signs of wear. A beautifully ornate brass spiral gong, signed. The key is included. The clock chimes every half hour with a single strike on the gong. On the hour, for example at 19:00, it strikes seven times. It chimes once at the half hour. Period of creation: 1900–1920. There are visible minor signs of use, as well as minimal scratches and discoloration. Photos are an integral part of the description.
