Ein großer chinesischer Imari bemalter und vergoldeter „Garden with flowers“ Charger (Teller, große - Porzellan - China - Qing-Dynastie (大清), Kangxi-Zeit (1662–1722, 康熙), frühes 18. Jahrhundert
A large Chinese Imari and gilded porcelain 'Garden with flowers' platter. China, late 17th to early 18th century, Kangxi (1662-1722, 康熙) period. Rare and impressive example with good provenance.
Finely painted in vivid Imari palette: blue and iron-red enamels enriched with gilt, a garden scene with different flowers and fence in the center, followed by a narrow band with geometrical pattern and flowers reserved on a white ground. Border extensively decorated with four large flowering plants. The base with a lingzhi mark in underglaze-blue within a double circle. Nice ivory-color foot-rim. Top-rim finished in brown. Printed paper label to the base: 'EYMERY & Cie - 372 Rue St-Honoré PARIS 1er' with hand written: 'Khang Hsi 1662-1722'.

- EYMERY ET COMPAGNIE, antiques dealer, according to French company register (print screen attached) active from January 1st 1900 (possible founded earlier, but register starts in 1900?) to June 1st 1997 at 372 RUE SAINT-HONORE in PARIS, than moved to 154 BOULEVARD DU GENERAL DE GAULLE, GARCHES, closed 24 Oct 2001. eymery's label on back.
- purchased at Eymenry&Cie about 1960-1970, later by descente to the last owner.
Conditions report: preserved in excellent condition, tiny chip to the underside of the rim only (picture). No cracks, no hairlines, no restorations! Minimal wear to the gilding and painted decoration. Minor firing faults. UV- and strong white light tested. Check pictures for details.
