A striking and highly elegant lounge chair designed by A. Dolleman and manufactured by Metz & Co in the Netherlands around 1950. This piece is a beautiful example of Dutch mid-century modernism, where structure, material and proportion come together in pure harmony.

The slender black lacquered tubular steel frame is subtly bent into an architectural silhouette, giving the chair a light and refined presence. The generously shaped seat and backrest are executed in thick saddle leather, expertly stitched and beautifully suspended within the frame.
