An unusual and unique pair of Gu-shaped Chinese blue and white vases and in the middle a band of unglazed carved archaistic dragons and clouds. On the bottom signed with the Kangxi mark. Trumpet shaped top and bottom rim, along the body very decorative underglaze cobalt blue sceneries. On the upper section, figures, birds, swirling clouds, mountains and flowers. The centre band unglazed ceramic with carved archaistic dragons among clouds. On the lower section Shoulao with the walking stick, the god of longetivity, accompanied by the mythical Qilin and the scholar rock with Buddhistic emblems and with peonies and palm trees. The foot is decorated with a lappet band. Condition is very good. Late Qing dynasty/20th Century The vases will carefully packed, shipped with track&trace and signature in arrival.
