An antique Swedish silver-plated cruet set made in 1901 by Guldsmedsaktiebolaget (GAB), one of Sweden's leading silversmiths, active from 1868 to 1986 in Stockholm. The frame is stamped on the base with GAB, NS for Nysilver, the year 1901, and the letter D as model designation. The stand has a square base with a pierced gallery border and four ball feet, with a central column topped by a T-bar handle. It holds four pieces in total: two crystal bottles with faceted cut stoppers for oil and vinegar, one shaker with a pierced silver-plated cap for salt or pepper, and one mustard pot with a hinged silver-plated lid and a slot for a spoon. The design is clean and elegant, typical of quality Swedish silverplate from the turn of the century. The condition is very good with light patina. There is one small chip on the bottom of one stopper, completely invisible when the stopper is in place. Otherwise, the set looks great.
