The history of Junghans began in 1861 in Schramberg, located in Germany’s Black Forest, when Erhard Junghans and his brother-in-law founded the company. The brand quickly became one of the key players in German watchmaking, thanks to its commitment to precision and continuous innovation. In 1890, the iconic 8-pointed star logo was registered, becoming a symbol of quality and reliability. By the early 20th century, Junghans had grown into the largest watch manufacturer in the world, producing millions of timepieces annually.
