Flachmann (7) - Leder, Holz, Eisen, Kupfer - Pulverflaschen + Gegenstände

These unique gunpowder horns, gunpowder measurements and two original Nuristan scabbards were collected in the tribal regions of Afghanistan. They were carried by hunters and fighters through the passes of the Hindukush mountains. Estimated age is 19th century or earlier.

The wood and leather containers still smell slightly of black gunpowder on the inside. These are structurally sound while showing signs of use. These are approximately 19 cm long x 18 cm wide and 13cm long x12 cm wide.

The copper and wood gunpowder measures are from the same time period.
The two scabbards are regrettably without the knives, but are original and quite old


These items were collected in Afghanistan in the 1970's during a prolonged stay in the country.
