A big Chinese blue and white molded porcelain bowl with flared rim. Qing dynasty (大清), late Qianlong (1735-1796, 乾隆) to early Jiaqing (1796-1820, 嘉慶) period, end of the 18th / beginning of the 19th century. Very rare model of big dimensions. Finely potted, the top-rim modelled as flower petals followed by molded round wall, supported on a short tapering foot. Painted to the interior in strong cobalt blue with a landscape depicting pagoda and dwellings on meandering river's banks, people on the bridge, trees, rocks and a mountain in background, all surrounded by a band od spear-heads. Wide band with diaper pattern and small circles with dots under the top-rim. Daylight pictures included. Provenance: private collection, The Netherlands. Conditions report: very good condition for the age, hardly visible hairline to the wall and hairlines to the glaze (not visible on other side)no damages. Fritting to the top-rim.
