(Oradyne) tube radio from the Art Deco period, produced circa 1940–1942. This striking tabletop radio is distinguished by its beautiful marbled brown bakelite case with deep reddish tortoiseshell tones, a highly sought-after aesthetic strongly associated with early French radio design. Manufactured by O.R.A. (Oradyne) in Paris, this model features the classic horizontal stepped speaker grille, elegant rounded corners, and the original station dial with European city names including Paris, Berlin, Brussels, Milan, Stockholm, and Hilversum. The dial markings for PO, GO, and OC bands reflect the standard broadcasting ranges of the era: Broadcast, Long Wave, and Short Wave. Inside, the original vacuum tube chassis remains present, preserving its authentic historical character.
