Obverse of the coin: the central core of the coin is separated from the outer ring of the coin. The stars on the outer edge of the coin are deformed. On the left side of the coin, an additional strike by the dies (double strike) in the form of a semicircle.
The inscription LËTZEBUERG and the year 2015 are distorted, and several letters and numbers are partially missing. The central part of the coin is not clearly divided into two equal fields. The image of Henri, Grand Duke of Luxembourg, is distorted.
The reverse of the coin: the central ring is missing, with four very wide, conical outer slits visible, running through four points of the coin. All the grooves were created during the movement of the die and the striking process under enormous pressure. The number 2 is damaged.
The coin's outer ring is deformed. Six stars and six vertical lines under the EURO inscription are missing. The EURO inscription is barely visible, and the letters E and O are missing.
The map of Europe is deformed, with several countries missing.

In the center of the coin, the bust of King Juan Carlos I, turned slightly to the left; along the left edge, in concave letters: ESPAÑA (Spain); along the edge, twelve five-pointed stars – the symbol of the European Union; four stars in the upper right corner are concave; at the bottom of the coin, the year of issue, separated by the lowest star.
The 12 stars are invisible, several are missing, the inscription "ESPANIA" is faint, the bust of King Juan Carlos I is faint, and facial features, hair, etc., are missing.
