A lovely antique good sized Chinese porcelain container (tureen and cover) with a central decoration of very well painted Blossoms and Foliage, executed in a nice underglaze blue and white. On the lid a Brown Glazed Rims. On the bottom the an unglazed foot rim. Handcrafted in ancient China during the Qing dynasty, Kangxi period (ca. 1680-1700). Guaranteed original and of the stated period. Magnificent deep cobalt. Including original cover! Height: 14,5 centimeter. Condition: The jar is in very good condition, one tiny shallow mouse bite on the inside only. The lid with bites. No hairlines and no restorations.
