The Spiral lamp was designed by Verner Panton in 1969. When Verpan was founded in 2003 to preserve his legacy, this ever-changing reflective cloud became one of the most popular and celebrated designs in the catalogue. This is the rarer and more sophisticated SP1 version, where the spirals hang each from an invisible thread to a sculptural, wavy ceiling plate. Contrarily to the SP01 version with its crown structure of 3 concentric rings, here the cloud actually floats weightless and the gaze is proyected through and upwards. This model currently retails over 2.900€ depending on the country. This lamp is an exhibition piece from a Verpan distributor. Apparently it has been hung but has had no private use, it can be considered semi-new. Its condition is flawless and it comes with the product's inner and outer box, factory protections and instructions. The original hanging span of 115cm is fixed and has not been altered.
