This is pottery that has long been treasured in Japanese tea ceremonies.
Recently, it has become known overseas due to the global matcha boom.
Its appeal lies in the warm white glaze and the soft expression of the clay.

Artist: 吉田萩苑 Yoshida Shūen (1940-1986)
Yoshida Shūen, born in Hagi City in 1940 (Showa 15). He studied under 三輪休雪 Miwa Kyusetsu.
He was highly regarded for his skills, but he was a writer who passed away at the young age of 46.
