Beautiful vintage Junghans sunburst / starburst wall clock from Germany, most likely dating from the 1950s/1960s or 1960s/1970s. The clock has a striking decorative sunburst design with brass-coloured metal rays, floral details and a green/turquoise inner ring around the dial. The dial features the Junghans logo and shows attractive original patina consistent with age. The back is marked “Made in Germany”. The original movement appears to be present. This is a very decorative statement piece and fits perfectly in a mid-century modern, Hollywood Regency or vintage interior. Condition The clock is in used vintage condition with visible signs of age, patina, oxidation, scratches and discolouration. The dial shows spotting and age-related wear, and the brass-coloured metal shows natural patina. In my opinion, this adds to the authentic vintage character of the piece. Working condition: Tested and working, need to be wound. The clock has a mechanical key-wound movement. A winding key is not included. Will be packed carefully for shipping.
