Union Ancre Panda Racing Landeron Chronograph – 17 Rubis Incabloc – Swiss Made A very attractive vintage Swiss chronograph by Union Ancre, featuring a highly desirable silver panda racing style dial with black sub-dials, red and blue outer scales, applied hour markers and a distinctive multicolour 30-minute chronograph register. The watch has a strong 1960s/1970s racing chronograph look, with excellent wrist presence thanks to its approx. 38.5 mm case size, as shown in the photos. Inside, the watch is powered by a Swiss Landeron manual-wind chronograph calibre, one of the most appreciated and collectible chronograph movement families of the period. The dial is marked 17 Rubis / Incabloc, adding to its vintage Swiss character. The chronograph starts, stops and resets. Please note that the central chronograph seconds hand resets slightly to the right of 12 o’clock. This is clearly mentioned for accuracy. The watch is running and all functions are working. The case has a stainless steel back and base metal/plated construction, as indicated on the caseback. The gold plating shows visible age-related wear, especially on the bezel and lugs. This gives the watch an honest vintage appearance and has not been hidden or restored. The dial remains very attractive, with light signs of age and patina consistent with a vintage chronograph.
