Wecker - Messing, Plastik - 1950-1960 - Vintage Oris „8 Days“

Vintage Oris "8 Days" Table Clock - Swiss Masterpiece, 1960s This clock is a rare collector's item, combining Swiss Made precision engineering with spectacular modernist design, being a symbol of the superior quality of the Oris brand. Origin and Mechanism: Entirely made in Switzerland, the clock has a manual movement with 7 jewels (7 Jewels). Its top feature is the 8-day power reserve (the inscription "8 Day" on the dial), which means that it only needs to be wound once a week. Mid-Century Modern Design: The case features a striking chromatic contrast, formed by upper and lower panels of a deep matte blue, which frame the minimalist white dial. Brass Structure: The sides are made of solid golden brass plates, which extend below the body of the clock to form the supporting legs. Their design is slightly flared, giving the piece perfect stability and an imposing architectural silhouette. Plexiglas Protection: The screen is covered with an original, domed plexiglass, which protects the fine gold tongues and blue hour markers, while providing excellent clarity. Complete Functionality: On the brass back are the controls for adjusting the time and alarm, along with the upper rod for stopping the bell. It also includes a manual regulator (+/-) for calibrating the accuracy. Presence and Value: It is a robust, "heavy" object that exudes the discreet luxury of the '60s. The combination of colors and noble materials (brass, plexiglass) make it a piece of resistance in any collection or interior decoration. one of the legs is missing a screw that does not affect the stability or functionality of the clock!
