A wine that gives full satisfaction to every Sangiovese lover. Since 1888, the best Sangiovese grapes on the property have been used for the production of Brunello di Montalcino, one of the most famous red wines in the world. For his Brunello, Argiano selects the grapes from his noblest vineyards and ages the wine in two different types of wood: the first year in French barriquese tonneaux of various sizes to strengthen the innate structure of the wine, the second year in larger Slavonian oak barrels that allow the wine to balance. Once the wood aging is completed, the wine is transferred to concrete tanks. The combination of concentrated and ripe grapes in fermentation at carefully controlled temperatures, together with careful aging in a selection of different oak barrels, produces red wines that preserve that incredible aging potential for which Brunello di Montalcino is famous.
