The history of Shustov in Ukraine is linked to the famous merchant dynasty that founded a distillery in Odessa in 1863. It became part of their vast alcoholic beverage empire, producing high-quality cognacs and other spirits that won acclaim in the Russian Empire and Europe (winning the Grand Prix in Paris in 1900). Today, the Shustov brand belongs to the Odessa Cognac Factory and continues to be produced in Ukraine.
