A set of four Chinese blue and white porcelain 'Basket of flowers' plates. Qing dynasty (大清), Qianlong period (1735-1796, 乾隆), mid 18th c. Finely painted in cobalt blue with a large basket of flowers in the center, surrounded by a trellis diaper band with four flower reserves. Border extensively decorated with the wide band of flowers. Daylight pictures included. Provenance: private collection, Utrecht, The Netherlands. Dimensions: diameter - 23,5 / 23,7 / 23,6 / 23,5 cm; height - c. 2,3 cm. Weight – 368 / 370 / 375 / 364 g. Conditions report: - one dish with three small chips to the edge and fritting; - second one with a chip to the rim (bottom) and fritting; - third plate: V-shaped chip to the rim with associated hairline and fritting to the edge; - last one with four hairlines, small chip and some fritting to the rim.
