Tissot - Seastar Automatic Extremely rare dial! - Ohne mindestpreis - 46578-4 - Herren - 1970

I am offering a beautiful and rare vintage piece for auction! An elegant Swiss classic: Tissot Seastar Automatic wristwatch from 1970 •Extremely rare, stunning, and unique-looking textured dial, outstanding from a collector's perspective, with a special salmon-colored grain, fitted with applied gold-black indices and hands • 20-micron gold-plated case in nice condition, with the polygon steel caseback characteristic of Tissot on the reverse • Beautiful original condition – the dial, case, and hands have a consistent, period-correct appearance • Tissot 796 in-house automatic movement – 17 jewels, Swiss made, reliable and high-quality caliber with day and date display (Day-Date), 18,000 beats per hour, and a 45-hour power reserve • Service history unknown; the watch works and keeps time well • Stainless steel caseback (inside with Tissot marking and reference number 46578-4) • Brown leather strap with white contrast stitching • Case diameter: 36.0 mm (without crown) • Lug-to-lug distance: 39.7 mm • Classic, distinctive design, which is a perfect choice for both elegant wear and everyday use • Very nice, completely original collector's condition, with only minor signs of use due to its age This watch comes from one of Tissot's most popular eras; the "Seastar" series was one of the brand's most iconic and durable lines. Its specialty is the rare dial with a salmon-colored grain, which provides an extremely unique texture and unparalleled aesthetic experience in person. Based on the serial number 11541541 visible on the movement, the exact age of the watch can also be determined: it was made precisely in 1970. The Tissot 796 caliber beating inside is the manufacturer's own (in-house) developed, indestructible automatic movement, which was used between 1968 and 1972. This robust, 17-jewel construction is a prime example of the Swiss precision of the era, features a 45-hour power reserve, and thanks to the double (day and date) calendar display, makes this timepiece an extremely practical and valuable piece even for everyday wear. No reserve price – the highest bid takes it! The photos are original, unmanipulated, and form part of the description. The watch is a used (vintage) piece, therefore minor scratches or signs of use may occur. Fast, insured shipping. Please check my feedback – customer satisfaction is the most important for me. There is no customs duty or other tax within the European Union. Customs and import costs outside the EU are the responsibility of the buyer.
